There is a version of you on the other side of 12th March 2027 that you have not met yet.
She walked into the OEC Sheffield at 8:30am. The room was already buzzing. Women she had never met were hugging each other like old friends. Nobody was shrinking. Nobody was playing it safe. The energy hit her before she had even got her coffee.
She laughed until she cried. She wrote faster than she could think. She had conversations that felt like permission. Permission to be bigger, louder, and more ambitious than she had been letting herself be.
At 5pm she walked barefoot across broken glass and snapped an arrow at her own throat. She stood in a circle of women who had just done something extraordinary together and felt, for the first time or the hundredth, that she was exactly where she was supposed to be.
Then at 7pm she walked back in. Red carpet. Pink Lamborghini. A glass of prosecco. A room transformed. Dinner, drag bingo, dancing until 1am. Unapologetically, joyfully, completely herself.
She went home at 1am with sore feet and a full heart. And she went back to her business on Monday completely differently.
That woman is you. EMpowered Live 2027 is where you meet her.
EMpowered Live 2027 is the flagship women's business conference for the North of England. A full day conference and celebration evening hosted by award-winning entrepreneur and business coach Emily Mallender, taking place on Friday 12th March 2027 at the OEC Sheffield, S6 2DE.
Friday 12th March is the big finale to International Women's Day week and this is the event that closes it with the energy it deserves.
One ticket covers everything. The full conference day from 8:30am, and the full EMpire Gala evening from 7pm until 1am. Tickets start from £150 including VAT, that is £50 a month with Klarna. Standard tickets are £210 (£70 a month with Klarna). EMpress VIP is £300 (£100 a month with Klarna).
This is the founding year. The very first EMpowered Live. These prices will not be back.
The right room at the right time does not just inspire you. It changes what you think is possible.
International Women's Day falls on 8th March 2027. EMpowered Live takes place on Friday 12th March, the big finale to IWD week, and it is the event that this city and this community has needed for a long time.
Every year, International Women's Day comes and goes with panels, brunches, and Instagram posts. Some of them are excellent. None of them go until 1am.
EMpowered Live is different. It is a full day of transformational content, structured connection, and genuine community, followed by a full evening of celebration that goes hard, stays late, and sends every woman home feeling exactly like the powerful, extraordinary person she is.
If you are looking for an International Women's Day event in Sheffield in 2027 that actually does justice to what the day stands for, this is it.
I was a teenage mum. I went to business networking events with my baby in tow, sitting in rooms where I was not always sure I was supposed to be there, backing myself anyway.
I spent 13 years building my business, coaching hundreds of women, running over 500 events, and facilitating more than £127 million in business connections. I have completed Ant Middleton's SAS expedition. I did a 15,000ft charity skydive for Sheffield Children's Hospital. I am currently self-studying a law and criminology degree because I never stop learning.
And throughout all of it, I kept noticing the same thing. Women are extraordinary when they are in the right room. When they stop performing for everyone else and just get to work. When they are surrounded by people who understand what they are building and why it matters.
EMpowered Live is the event I always wished existed when I was that young mum in the room, wondering if she was allowed to take up space. My daughter Ruby will be at EMpowered Live 2027. I built it to show her that she can be, do, or have absolutely anything she sets her mind to. And I built it for every woman who has ever felt the same way I did.
Every speaker at EMpowered Live 2027 has been chosen for one reason. She has something real to say. Not a polished performance. Not a rehearsed story. The truth about what it takes to build something, back yourself, and keep going when everything tells you to stop.
MBE holder. Author. Nationally recognised campaigner. Named as one of the top 100 Women in Westminster. One of the most compelling and courageous speakers in the United Kingdom, a woman who turned unimaginable pain into national change.
Her story is hers to tell on stage. I am not going to summarise it here because it deserves to be heard the way she tells it. You need to be in the room to hear it.
Founder of Brianna's Legacy. Following the murder of her daughter Brianna in 2023, Esther Ghey has become one of the most respected and recognised public voices in the United Kingdom, speaking on safety, compassion, justice, and the extraordinary power of creating positive change from the most unimaginable adversity.
Esther's presence at EMpowered Live 2027 is something I am deeply honoured by. Her story and her courage will be in that room. The women who are there to hear her will not forget it.
I will be hosting the day and delivering a keynote of my own. After 13 years coaching women in business, building communities of 39,900 plus women, speaking to audiences of 25,000 plus, and building this event from the ground up, I have things to say. And I am going to say all of them.
An opening keynote and the Building Her EMpire Panel are still to be revealed. Follow Emily on Instagram and Facebook for the announcements and book your ticket before the speakers are revealed, because once they are, the room will fill fast.
Doors open at 8:30am. Teas, coffees, pastries, and the energy of a room that has been building toward this for months. The conference programme starts at 9:30am and runs until approximately 5pm. Here is everything included:
EMpowered Live is a full, rich, and immersive day. And I did not want to create an event where women felt they had to push through. I wanted to create an event where women felt safe to be themselves.
The Sanctuary is a private, comfortable room reserved exclusively for EMpowered Live delegates throughout the conference day. There is a curated pamper kit, comfortable seating, water, tissues, and phone charging points. And there are Event Allies, a team of trained Mental Health First Aiders, available throughout the day to offer a warm, non-judgemental, supportive presence to any woman who needs it.
The Sanctuary is for you if you are neurodivergent and need a quieter environment to recharge. If you have been deeply moved by a speaker and need a few moments to process. If you are managing anxiety. If you need somewhere private to feed your baby or take a call. Or if you simply need five minutes of quiet before the afternoon begins.
You do not need permission. You do not need a reason. The Sanctuary is here whenever you need it.
At the end of the conference day, the room transforms. Chairs back. Music up. Every woman in a circle.
You are going to walk barefoot across broken glass. You are going to place an arrow at your throat and walk forward until it snaps.
The arrow represents every fear, every limiting belief, every voice that ever told you that you could not. The glass represents every broken, shattered piece of yourself you have ever carried. You walk across it, barefoot, grounded, present, and come out the other side whole.
I have done both the glass walk and the arrow break myself. I will be in that circle with you.
This is optional. It is completely safe. It is approved in writing by the Head of Health and Safety at OEC Sheffield. Our supplier holds full public liability insurance. Every participant receives a certificate.
Every participant pays a £25 registration fee. Every single penny goes directly to Resolute Women's Support Services, not through Emily, not through the event, straight to the charity. Our charity sponsor then matches every pound raised, pound for pound. If 80 women participate, that is £4,000 for Resolute.
Resolute Women's Support Services was founded by Deborah Jones, a survivor of ten years of domestic abuse who rebuilt her life and turned her experience into national change. She provides trauma-informed, survivor-led support for women across the UK, and her TAG and App campaign, calling for a GPS proximity tagging system for domestic abuse perpetrators, was formally recognised in Parliament in 2025.
You can also set up a GoFundMe page before the event and get sponsored for your walk. Our charity sponsor matches every pound raised through sponsorship too. Details on how to set up your page will be shared with all ticket holders closer to the event.
The evening is where everything becomes a full-on celebration. Because joy is not a reward for when you have done enough. It is part of the plan.
You will go home at 1am with sore feet, a completely full heart, and friendships that will last for years.
Every ticket includes the full conference day and the full gala evening.
Klarna available at checkout on all tickets. Pay in 3. All tickets are non-refundable and include VAT.
If you believe in what EMpowered Live stands for and want to help get more women in the room, the EMbassador programme lets you earn a thank you for every woman you refer who buys a ticket.
